Bamberg is situated in a beautiful franconian valley which grants it's visitors a superb view of a unique old town. The historical Old Town was declared by UNESCO a World Cultural Heritage site. During earlier times it served as residence to emperors and bishops. From the Emperor's Cathedral to the Benedicten Monastery and the fascinating Town Hall, all have stood witness to these glorious times past.
Especially interesting are the beer cellars, all conveniently located and easy to reach by foot. Bamberg is an attractive site for all visitors young and old.
